ETTU President Ronald KRAMER is in Dusseldorf where he attends the 2014 LIEBHERR World Cup. Among numerous of duties and meetings he had an extra pleasure to present special award to Eberhard SCHÖLER man who was in ETTU governing body for more then two decades.

“Exactly four weeks ago September 26th in Lisbon Portugal during the TMS 2014 European Table Tennis Team Championships the Congress of the European Table Tennis Union has by acclamation and with an overwhelming applause wholeheartedly awarded Mister Eberhard SCHÖLER the Honorary Membership of ETTU. This award is not only based on the achievements of Ebby SCHÖLER as an outstanding player – known as Mister Pokerface – of world-class level. It is also based on his contribution to the overall development of table tennis at all levels in Europe as a member of the Executive Board of the European Table Tennis Union for nearly two decades “stated President KRAMER.

President KRAMER reminded the audience of SCHÖLER’s enormous contribution to table tennis community.“As President of the European Table Tennis Union I sincerely feel it as a very great honour to present here today in Düsseldorf the Certificate as a proof of this Honorary Membership. A membership which stands not only for many years of dedication to European table tennis but even more for his achievements his fair play and his great personality as a player and as an administrator. Eberhard SCHÖLER has shown to be a true Ambassador of our sport.”
