The Europe Youth Top 10 started today in the Municipal Center of Sports in Tours. Top juniors and cadets will be on duty next three days in France. All arrived well yesterday with one exception. European champion from Italy in junior girls singles Chantal MANTZ of Germany was forced to withdraw. Tin -Tin HO of England the 16-year-old was first reserve and she will play instead.

The head of German delegation in Tours Eva JELER was asked about the reasons for CHANTAL’s withdrawal. “I guess it is stomach flue. She has high fever and all other symptoms of viral infection. She got sick in very last moment before our trip ” explained JELER.

COOKE was stopped at Maidstone services while Tin-Tin’s family collected her from school and ensured she had the necessary kit.
