Michael MAZE to lead Denmark again

For a first time after 2010 fantastic Michale MAZE is the part of the Danish line up at World Championships. Next week at the ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Championships to be staged in Tokyo from Monday 28th April to Monday 5th May MAZE will lead the outfit seeded at position no. 17.

The team will consist of Michael MAZE Jonathan GROTH Kasper STERNBERG Mikkel HINDERSSON and Morten Hyrup RASMUSSEN. Since it is the first time since 2010 that Michael MAZE will play in a World championships coach Linus MERNSTEIN hopes that the final result will exceed the achievements recorded in previous occasions.

In their Group are also Germany Hong Kong Croatia Singapore and Ukraine. Denmark is fifth seed in Group B.

“It is a difficult draw but if MAZE is in good shape and GROTH and STERNBERG continue their progress we can be hard opponent to beat for any teams ” said the Danish coach.

Best result Denmark had in 1969 and 2008. They reached position no. 11.
