Fenerbahce will play against Berlin Eastside in the 2013/14 Women`s European Champions League final. Turkish champion and WECL no. 1 seed lost at home from Zamek 3:2 (9:10 in sets) in returning semi-final match, but secured the final thanks to bigger advantage from first leg – 3:2 (12:8). The last two games of the season will be held on March 7-9th and 21-23rd.

Today`s clash fulfilled expectations. Two WECL newcomers Fenerbahce and Zamek continued their rivalry from previous year when the best Turkish club overcame Polish champion in ETTU Cup final. It showed that Viktoria PAVLOVICH is unsolved problem for Zamek`s player. Former individual European champion won her both encounters in first leg and now started by 3:0 win against JIA Jun.

After that victory everything was easier for the host side, despite HAN Ying beat HU Melek in straight games of second match.

With world`s no. 26 CHENG I-Cheng on 3rd position, Fenerbahce had almost fixed win. Renata STRBIKOVA (no. 91) was not able to take any set from Taiwanese who was the best Fenerbahce`s player during the group stage.

Viktoria PAVLOVICH didn`t need to beat HAN Ying to secure the final for her side, but she took first two sets. German won in five games to improve her individual score to 12-1. JIA Jun provided the win for Zamek, beating HU Melek in five sets.
