Who will  keep good memories of WECL season  TTC Berlin Eastside or Fenerbahce? It will be known within next eight days when 2013/14 Women’s European Champions League will be finished. Both clubs have same goal to reach all three possible titles this season national league and cup plus WECL. Everything goes smoothly in domestic leagues for them but now it’s time to see who is the best European team. First final game to be held in Germany this Friday (March 7th 19h30 CET live on LAOLA1.tv) while returning match is coming six days later.

Both sides are sure that the finals will bring a great promotion of women’s table tennis. Fenerbahce`s fans are coming from Istanbul to support their team in most important match in club’s history ever.

Berlin`s coach Irina PALINA is very satisfied after good results of her players on National Championships of Germany. All three Berlin’s members took the medals and SHAN Xiaona was the most successful competitor of the event winning two finals (single and double).

“All our German players went home with medals. And we hope they will play same good also this Friday. Gina POTA took more care about practice and didn’t play on her National Championship. We are expecting a lot of spectators. Fenerbahche fan group reserved already place for them in the tribune so it will be loud and interesting in hall” said Irina PALINA.

Fenerbahce`s manager Gurhan YALDIZ has no doubt that next two games are giving a chance for something much bigger than two ETTU Cup titles:All my players are fully concentrated and preparing very seriously to first final match. We are playing away but we hope that many Fenerbahce`s funs will be there to support us. I hope we’ll play very pleasure game which will bring a big enjoy to the spectators. Of course one team will go to the victory. However I hope that table tennis will win”.

TTC Berlin Eastside has one WECL title that it won two years ago. Fenerbahce plays its first ever WECL but already has two ETTU Cups. These two clubs met in group stage and each one won at home: Berlin 3:2 Fenerbahce 3:1. Turkish champion is considered as favourite having all four best ranked players on ITTF list: Viktoria PAVLOVICH no. 17 Elizabeta SAMARA no. 27 CHENG I-Ching no. 28 HU Melek no. 32.
