Two clubs from Group C of Men`s European Champions League will fight for their first victory in new season today in Czech Republic city Havlickuv Brod: Sten Marketing HB Ostrov – Vaillante Angers (19h00 CET). Angers` president Gerard SARAZIN thinks that the top spot in this group is “reserved” for Russian UMMC explaining why today`s game is important for his side: “For Angers this round is very important because if we beat Sten normally we will finish minimum in third and could continue in ETTU Cup and it is also the possibility to have a match with Saarrbrucken for the qualification for the quarters. I really think that UMMC will finish on first place”.

SARAZIN added why he is looking forward this game: “This round is also the possibility for us to see the first match of Kenji MATSUDAIRA just arrived from Japan. Last pleasure is to see again Josef SIMONCIK who played one season with Angers two years ago and played a final in ETTU Cup”.

Vaillante Angers achieved its best result in MECL last season. They played for the very first time in semi-final and lost from future champion Pontoise.
