Romanian young star Bernadette SZOCS clinched the title in the Junior Girls Singles Event at the JOOLA 2013 Hungarian Junior & Cadet Open – ITTF Premium Junior Circuit in Szombathely. In the final she overcame DOO Hoi Kem of Hong Kong 4:2 (6:11 11:9 11:6 11:8 7:11 11:8).

In semis SZOCS overcame Charlotte CAREY of Wales 4:0 (11:9 11:6 11:8 11:8) whilst DOO beat Chantal MANTZ of Germany 4:2 (11:6 11:4 9:11 7:11 11:2 11:7).

Yuto MURAMATSU of Japan beat David REITSPIES of Czech Republic to clinch the title in Junior Boys Singles Event 4:0 (11:8 11:6 11:8 11:6). In semis MURAMATSU beat YANG Heng-Wei of Hong Kong whilst REITSPIES beat Kilian ORT of Germany in full distance duel (11:5 9:11 10:12 11:4 4:11 11:3 11:8).

In the Junior Boy’s Doubles Event LIAO Cheng-Ting and YANG Heng-Wei of Taipei beat French pairings Paul GAUZY and Romain RUIZ 1:3 (6:11 6:11 11:2 7:11). In semis Luca MARCATO and Jordy PICCOLIN of Italy suffered by the hands of GAUZY and RUIZ 1:3 (15:13 7:11 8:11 11:13) whilst Cheng-Ting and YANG Heng-Wei beat Diogo CHEN and Jorge COSTA of Portugal by same margin (11:7 12:14 7:11 5:11).

MAK Tze Wing and SOO Wai Yam Minnie of Hong Kong overcame compatriots DOO Hoi Kem and LAM Yee Lok in the final of the Junior Girls Doubles Event. The winners of the Event beat Irina CIOBANU and Bernadette SZOCS in the semi final stage.
