Russia’s Kirill SKACHKOV, Alexander SHIBAEV, Mikhail PAYKOV, Viacheslav BUROV, Viacheslav KRIVOSHEEV succeeded against France in the quarterfinal of the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan. Now they will meet Japan to try to secure final. In upper half of the draw China beat Germany and in semis will meet Taipei. Taipei beat Spain in quarters. 

Russia is in the semis of the Women’s Team’s event as well. Russia’s Yana NOSKOVA, Elena TROSHNEVA, Polina MIKHAILOVA succeeded against Czech Republic. They will also meet Japan, the team that beat France. China will play against Taipei. Belarus lost their duel against Taipei in the quarters.
