In Women’s final Linz-Froschberg AG won both legs against Hungarian Budaörs  6:2 and 6:3 to secure the title in European Superliga. Linz-Froschberg LZ concluded the competition at the position no. three after victory over HASTK Zagreb.

In Austria nothing changed at the top – SG SVS Niederösterreich 1 is unbeaten after 20 rounds. SPG Walter Wels with the best player in the League Zolt PETE has three points less. However ASKÖ Glas Wiesbauer Mauthausen dropped few places down and Ece Grill Kapfenberg progressed to position no. three. UTTC Raiffeisen Ligist is fourth. After 20 rounds Linz AG Froschberg is still the leading team in women’s Bundesliga, SVS STRÖCK is at the position no. two at the standings followed by LZ Linz-Froschberg and TTC Carinthia Winds-Villacher.

In Croatia Dr CASL needed 4,5 hours to beat GSTK Zagreb in the first leg of the play off final. The victory came after dramatic recovery. DR CASL was 3:0 in reverse before Tomislav JAPEC and ZENG Jia won the match in doubles. After that ZENG, FUCEC and JAPEC succeded in next three singles.
Girls from team of DR CASL also were successful last weekend. They prolonged the end of the series by beating HASTK Mladost Iskon in the second leg of the play off final. Four out of five matches concluded with 3:2 result.

In Czech Republic SF SKK El Niňo Praha A will play against Sokol Kraluv Dvur A in the final of the Extraliga play off. El Niňo Praha beat Hr.Kralove Pinec.cz A in semis, whilst against Sokol Kraluv Dvur overcame STEN marketing HB Ostrov A. In Women’s final SKST Mart Hodonín A will meet MSK ČP Břeclav A Gumotex. In semis Hodonin beat SK Dobre A, and Breclav beat SK Frýdlant nad Ostravicí A.

Roskilde beat Vedbak in the final of the play off to secure the title in the Danish Championships. Jesus CANTERO, Allan BENTSEN, Finn TUGWELL and GAO Fan played for the winners.

In German Bundesliga SV Werder Bremen overcame Borussia Düsseldorf in straight matches in the first leg of the semi final in play off. In other duel TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen overcame FC Saarbrücken TT by same margin. Second leg is scheduled for May 5th.

In Hungary, CVSE Swietelsky-Wewalka has 17 out of 17 and nine points advantage in front of Budaörs 2i SC I. Aloe-Invest SZERVA ASE Szécsény is third with same number of points as Budaors. Women’s League Budaörs 2i SC is at the top, Postás SE I. followed with Szekszárd AC I.KEFO.

In Poland DARTOM BOGORIA Grodzisk Mazowiecki beat PKS KOLPING FRAC Jarosław in straight matches to secure the victory in the semi final of the play off. ASTS OLIMPIA-UNIA Grudziądz showed equally superb play and beat ZKS PALMIARNIA Zielona Góra in other semis.
