New season’s changes in Women’s ECC

Тhe ETTU Congress in Paris decided upon a new regulation with regard to the European club Competition – Women. This competition shall be organized in two different events: the European Champions League and the ETTU Cup.

Following teams shall be nominated for the ECLW:
– The winner of the ECLW of the previous season;
-The seven (7) highest ranked teams (considering all entries) from the seeding list based on the total number of ranking points of the three highest ranked players on the current World Ranking List, but only one “foreign player” being considered.
All teams not qualified for the ECLW are entered into the ETTU Cup.
In case a qualified club does not participate in the ECLW, this club is not allowed to participate in the ETCW neither.
