Jean-Michel SAIVE, the top seed in the Men’s Singles event at the ITTF World Tour Morocco Open in Rabat, suffered defeat at the hands of Belgian compatriot, Cédric NUYTINCK, the no.10 seed, in a five games encounter in the Round of 16.

Cédric NUYTINCK , however failed to progress the semi final today after he lost his duel against Michel MARTINEZ of France. French player will meet another player from Belgium tomorow, Robin DEVOS. DEVOS beat Sathiyan GNANASEKARAN of India in quarters.

In lower half of the draw two French players will fight for the place in the final Enzo ANGLES will meet Abdel-Kader SALIFOU.

In the semi final of the Women’s Singles Event Maria BYKOVA of Russia will meet Pooja SAHASRABUDHE of Morocco, whilst Russia’s Irina ERMAKOVA will play against Sarah DE NUTTE of Luxembourg
