This weekend Karlskrona in South-East of Sweden will be the host 87th National Championships in Sweden. The first official was held in Stockholm 1927.

Main favorites in Men´s singles this year are Jens LUNDQUIST and Pär GERELL, both playing in France. Matilda EKHOLM is a big favorite in Women´s Singles. However LI Fen, who will play for Sweden for the first time in a Team Competition at the European Qualification against Serbia at the 12th of March, can give EKHOLM hard time on her national Championships in Sweden premiere.Ekholm won in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012.

Jörgen PERSSON, 47th year-old in April, told us that this is his last championships. Jorgen played his first final 1984 and has won five times in singles (his latest title 2007), Jens LUNDQUIST clinched the title four times (2005, 2008, 2009, 2012) and GERELL once (2011).

From Octobre to January Jörgen played in the Chinese first league and won two and lost three singles matches.
