Top seeded at the 2013 Egypt Open, Euro Africa Challenge Series in Cairo, Turkish VANG bora reached second round without any efforts since his adversary Shady MAGDY of Egypt did not play. Turkey’s Gencay MENGE and LI Ahmet joined him.

The European line up in second round will also includes the names of Stanislav GOLOVANOV of Bulgaria, Marc DURAN of Spain Abdel-Kader SALIFOU of France. Only two matches in the round conclude in seven games. One of them was the duel between Julien INDEHERBERG and Mohamed EL-BEIALI of Egypt. Belgium’s player eventualy prevailed. INDEHERBERG also reached quarterfinal of the U21 Boys Singles Event.

In the second round of the Women’s Singles Event top seeded Yana NOSKOVA of Russia will meet Rita KERTAI of Hungary. Both players concluded opening round matches in straight games. The Europeans will dominate with Angeliki PAPADAKI of Greece, maria DOLGHI of Russia, Debora VIVARELLI of Italy, Anna BLAZHKO of Russia and dana CECOVA of Czrch Republic, all players booked their place in the quarterfinal.

Yana NOSKOVA, Debora VIVARELLI and Anna BLAZHKO will play tomorow in the quarterfinal of the U21 Girls Singles Event.
