DONIC and JOOLA are the two official suppliers of the 2013 European Veterans Championships in Bremen (27 May – 1 June). The two German table tennis companies do not only deliver 180 tables for two event halls and one practice hall at the venue, ÖVB Arena, but also provide almost all further equipment for a professional presentation on the red flooring: balls, surrounds, umpire desks and towel boxes. Even though there are two companies, the organizers guarantee standardized match conditions.

“We are pleased that we agreed with our long-term partners, DONIC and JOOLA, so quickly. We can now offer the veterans similar conditions as at World Tour tournaments”, says DTTB President Thomas WEIKERT. “Now everybody can intensively focus on further preparations of this huge tournament”.

The European Veterans Championships are one of the international highlights in this year’s table tennis calendar in Germany. 3,100 participants can register in total, among them 1,700 Germans maximum. “We warmly welcome Europe’s veteran players and hope that we can set up a new record for this event with over 3,000 players”, hopes WEIKERT.

At the World Veterans Championships in 2006, the DTTB succeeded in that goal at the same place. There were over 3,600 players in total from 61 countries at the ÖVB Arena back then.
