It`s enough to have a look to the list of names to be sure  2013/14 Women`s European Champions League will be the best edition ever. The draw to be held next Friday (19th of July, 10h00 CET) at Ostrava, during the 2013 European Youth Championships. Eight clubs will compete, one more than in last season, and they are: no. 1 seed Fenerbahce Sport Club (Turkey) 7650 points, 2 Linz AG Froschberg (Austria) 7316, 3 KTS Zamek Tarnobrzeg (Poland) 7198, 4 SVS STRÖCK (Austria) 7160, 5 TTC Berlin Eastside (Germany) 7150, 6 Tyumen (Russia) 6459, 7 Budaörsi 2i Sport Club (Hungary) 6434 and 8 Metz TT (France) 6355. French Metz TT will replace Spanish Cartagena due to Spanish team’s withdrawal.

Totally 11 Top 50 players from ITTF World rankings list will participate in upcoming season. The WECL newcomer and top seed, Turkish Fenerbahce has three very strong European players, world’s no. 15 Viktoria PAVLOVICH, no. 19 Elisabeta SAMARA and no. 38 HU Melek. No doubt, they are clear favourites for the crown.

Reigning champion, two times WECL winner Linz AG Froschberh continues with the winning thrio: LIU Jia (no. 24), Iveta VACENOVSKA (no. 28) and Petrissa SOLJA (no. 64).

One more debuting team, Polish KTS Zamek Tarnobrzeg also will fight for the title, having two well know names: LI Qian (no. 38) and Margaryta PESOTSKA (no. 44).

The 2011/12 finalists, German Berlin Eastside and Austrian SVS STROCK also are able to beat everyone. Both sides were changed their line-ups, but new players have a potential for big things.

Russian Tyumen is no. 6 seed, the last season’s finalist, Hungarian Budaorsi 2i SC is no. 7, whilst Metz concluded the list of 2013/14 participants. Each rival of French side will be faced with big task, to beat 2009 European individual champion WU Jiaduo, actual world’s no. 31 (no. 11 three years ago)..
