2013/14 MECL draw to be held at Dusseldorf

The draw of 2013/14 Men’s European Champions League will be held on Jun 12th at “Deutschen TT-Zentrum Düsseldorf”, from 9 am to 12, including the annual meeting. The seeding list for upcoming season is announced with the same names on two top places,

The draw of 2013/14 Men’s European Champions League will be held on Jun 12th at “Deutschen TT-Zentrum Düsseldorf”, from 9 am to 12, including the annual meeting. The seeding list for upcoming season is announced with the same names on two top places.

Reigning MECL champion, Russian Fakel Gazproma Orenburg is again no. 1 seed, having 7278 points, followed by ten times winner Borussia Dusseldorf (Germany, 7230). Other 11 participants are: 3 Werder Bremen (Germany, 6988), 4. UMMC (Russia, 6836), 5. Chartres ASTT (France, 6772), 6. FC Saarbrucken (Germany, 6653), 7. TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen (Germany, 6495), 8. Hennebont GV (France, 6454), 9. SVS Niederosterreich (Austria, 6359), 10. AS Pontoise Cergy TT (France, 6277), 11. Vaillante Sports Angers TT (France, 5973), 12. SPG Walter Wels (Austria, 5567) and 13. Eslov Al Bordtennis (Sweden, 5234).

The dates of first six rounds are:
06.09. – 09.09. 2013 (Round 1),
20.09. – 23.09. 2013 (Round 2),
01.11. – 04.11. 2013 (Round 3),
06.12. – 09.12. 2013 (Round 4),
13.12.– 16.12. 2013 (Round 5)
20.12. 2013 (Round 6).

The quarter finals are coming on 17.01. –19.01. 2014 and 07.02. – 09.02. 2014; semi finals on 07.03. – 09.03. 2014. and 21.03.- 23.03. 2014. First final leg will be held on 16.05. – 18.05. 2014 whilst ultimate match on 30.05. – 01.06. 2014.
