National Championships: battles for Lithuania’s titles started in Kaunas

02/03/2012 – Lithuanian National Championships started today in Kaunas and the best Lithuanian tabale tennis players competing for the prestigious title. It will be 85th National Championship. The first day starts with the qualification rounds. All finals will be played on Sunday.

This year last year’s champions Ieva JUCEVICIUTE and Matas SKUCAS will try to defend their title again. The best Lithuanian player and many times European Champion Ruta PASKAUSKIENE will not compete this year. The last time Ruta played in National Championships was two years ago.
