Dear Table Tennis Friends,

Christmas is a time to gather with family and friends, and to look back with gratitude, and to look forward with hope. On behalf of the whole European Table Tennis Union and me personally, wish all of you a joyful holiday season and for the year to come.

We recently started a new Olympic period with the strong aim to improve our sport and keep European table tennis at the top. In spite of continued global instability, we’re approaching the future with down-to-earth but positive spirit. New ideas, initiatives, projects are the key of a fruitful season for our sport. To succeed, we’ve to be more confident and more united than ever.

Our movement passed through difficult moments during the last months with opposite stances and quarrel disputes, but this is true democracy afterwards. I strongly believe we all capable to outpass any disagreement and keep working for tour common mission. This is my best wish for 2013.

See you soon, yours in sports
