The best table tennis players in Europe are on show in Herning, Denmark from 18.10. – 21.10 LIVE and FREE on ETTU TV powered by LAOLA1.tv

We are heading towards the end of another great year of European table tennis and there are still a couple of major events left for fans to enjoy. The highlight is undoubtedly the European Championships in Herning, Denmark. ETTU TV powered by LAOLA1.tv will be streaming the best of the action from table one LIVE and FREE as well as On Demand action from table one and two after the matches have been played here: http://ettu.laola1.tv

The change in format this year means that only the singles and doubles events will be taking place in Denmark rather than both the singles and team competitions. While this unfortunately means that the event will be shorter, it does also mean that the participants will be fitter, hungrier and more motivated to win the gold.

The big names return once again to compete for the most coveted prize in European singles competition. A total of 119 female players and 146 male players have entered the competition and there is only one player from the top 20 missing from the men’s event and three from the women’s.

Defending champion Timo BOLL tops the men’s rankings once again and remains the favourite to re-take the title again this year, but will face tough competition from his German counterparts OVTCHAROV, STEGER, BAUM and SÜSS. Spain’s SHEN YANFEI is the number one in the women’s competition with defending champion LI JIAO in 3rd. The Dutch player was in a class of her own last year, but the women’s event continues to go from strength to strength and we can expect to see some exciting matches over the course of the 5 days.

This extensive media coverage means fans from across the world will not miss a crucial point in Herning from 17.10 to 21.10. Who will be named ETTU European Champion 2012? Find out LIVE and FREE as well as On Demand on ETTU TV powered by LAOLA1.tv!
