04/12/2011 – Finlandia Open in Helsinki is in front of a positive problem; there are more international players willing to play in Finland than the organizer FinnishTable Tennis Association is able to accept. The draw in Progressive Knock Out System will have places for 128 male and 64 female players but FTTA has 138 male and respectively 72 female players on their lists from altogether 31 countries.

The competition will take place between the 8th and 11th of December in the old Ruskeasuo Sports Hall the venue built already 1940 for the Olympics that never occurred because of the Second World WarThe level of the competition is once again very suitable for Benedek OLAH the local number one player who has started his season in Sparvagen in Stockholm effectively. In Angby International OLAH has fighting fiercely against Jan-Ove WALDNER but suffered 9-11 in the decisive fifth set. OLAH
