14/02/2010 – Simone HAAN from R?mech and Traian CIOCIU from Iechternach clinched the crown at the Luxembourg’s national championships in singles held this weekend.

In the final HAAN beat Danielle KONSBRUCK (Rued) 4:1 (5 8 5 -8 11). In penultimate stage Simone overcame Tessy GONDERINGER (Houwald) 4:3 (-6 -4 4 8 -5 4 6) whilst KONSBRUCK succeeded against Peggy REGENWETTER (Nidderk?jeng) 4:3 (9 8 -9 -9 7 -3 9).

In men’s Singles Event Traian CIOCIU (Iechternach) beat Gilles MICHELY (Diddeleng) in straight games 4:0 (10 9 10 9). In semi final CIOCIU beat David JACHEC (Diddeleng) 4:0 (8 3 7 3). Gilles MICHELY beat J???RAISON (Nidderk?jeng) 4:1 (-4 7 7 11 9).

In Mixed Doubles medal winners are:
1. Gilles MICHELY / Carole HARTMANN (Diddeleng / Iechternach)
2. Claude BOUSCHET / Peggy REGENWETTER (Bech-Maacher / Nidderk?jeng)
3. Mike BAST / Simone HAAN (Gr?wemaacher / R?mech) Fabien SIMON / DE Sarah NUTTE (Fiels-Iernzen / Ettelbr?k)

Women’s Doubles medal winners are:
