Borussia Düsseldorf kicked off the new CL season with the win

Seven-time Champions League Men winners Borussia Düsseldorf kicked off the new Champions League season with an away match against Sporting Clube de Portugal in Lisbon. They accomplished their mission successfully with straight match wins.

“We had a good start and we are happy about that. We all know how tough it is at the beginning of the season. Our opponents were well-prepared and played very well so we had to stay alert to avoid any upsets ” said Dang QIU.

Anton Källberg Dang QIU and Timo BOLL faced Diogo CARVALHO Diogo CHEN and Tiago ABIODUN.

“We had a very promising start to the Champions League season. Everyone was focused and motivated. My match was a true clash of generations and was quite inspirational ” said 42-year-old Timo BOLL who defeated 15-year-old Tiago ABIODUN.

The next match is scheduled for this Wednesday October 25. Borussia Düsseldorf will face the Austrian team SPG Felbermayr Wels at their home court the ARAG CenterCourt.
