Welcome to the Malmö 2023 European Championships

The upcoming European Table Tennis Championships in Malmö Sweden are fast approaching (10 – 17 September 2023) and both ETTU and the Swedish Table Tennis Association are eagerly looking forward to welcoming all participants to this significant event which stands as a crown jewel of European table tennis.

We would like to provide you with some essential information regarding tickets and potential hotel accommodations for esteemed guests from the European table tennis community.

Malmö as the third-largest city in Sweden is conveniently accessible. The venue Malmö Arena was established in 2008 and has played host to various remarkable events including the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 (scheduled for a return in 2024) the Junior Ice Hockey World Championships in 2014 and the Handball World Championships in 2011.

Malmö Arena is conveniently situated only a twelve-minute train ride away from Copenhagen International Airport featuring round-the-clock departures. Upon arrival at Hyllie Station the venue is just a short walk up the stairs.
