ARLIA and MONFARDINI will face HARAC and YILMAZ in the final

In the final of the Women’s Doubles Event at the European Under 21 Championships Ece HARAC and Ozge YILMAZ of Turkiye will play against Nicole ARLIA and Gaia MONFARDINI of Italy.

Nicole ARLIA and Gaia MONFARDINI overcome Camille LUTZ and Prithika PAVADE of France (6 9 -5 8).

“This match was very tough. They were the favorites and we were so excited to play against them. We played so good almost perfect to beat them. In the second game we were 3-8 in reverse to win at 11-9. It was the best game. We lost the third game but we never have stop fighting ” said ARLIA.

MONFARDINI added: “We are playing very well together. We preparing the next ball for the partner and the high level of understanding and support is very important. We had to be at the top of the game especially when we faced the pairings that play at such high level.”

In the penultimate stage Ece HARAC and Ozge YILMAZ overcame Anna BRZYSKA and Zuzanna WIELGOS of Poland (8 -9 8 9).

“We played a good game. Anna and Zuzanna are very tough players in doubles. Their style is so hard to beat since they have a lot of variationsin their game. We are so happy that we won and we will try our best for the gold medal ” said Ece HARAC.
