At home soil KS Dekorglass Dzialdowo beat Portugal’s Sporting Clube de Portugal in straight matches in the opening encounter of the Champions League Men Stage two in the Group C.

Dane Jonathan GROTH gave Polish side a dream start with the victory over Diogo CHEN (11-5 11-1 11-7). Jakub DYJAS continued in the same pace with the three games victory over Diogo CARVALHO (11-4 11-9 11-4). Kaii KONISHI sealed the duel with the 3:1 victory over Bode ABIODUM (8-11 11-2 11-4 14-12)

“Today we were really prepared well as a team and everyone showed high quality table tennis. We are very happy we managed to win in straight matches knowing how it is important for the forthcoming matches ” said DYJAS.

In the opening match of the Stage two in Champions Legue Women French Metz prevailed against Serbia’s Novi Sad. Mariia TAILAKOVA overcame 19-years old Reka BEZEG (11-3 11-2 11-6) Pauline CHASSELIN beat Aneta MAKSZUTI (13-11 11-7 12-10) and WU Jiaduo prevailed against Tijana JOKIC (13-11 11-8 8-11 11-7).
