TTC Neu-Ulm had a good start of the Stage 2 in Champions Legue

At home soil in their opening match of the Stage 2 of the Champions League Men TTC Neu – Ulm overcame Poland’s K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo in four matches. With two wins LIN Yun-Ju was a backbone of team’s succes this morning.

LIN Yun-Ju overcame Jakub DYJAS in the opening match in four games (8:11 11:7 11:6 11:7) and prevailed in straight games against Jonathan GROTH (13:11 12:10 11:4). Truls MOREGARDH also prevailed against GROTH (11:7 4:11 11:5 11:6). Dimitrij OVTCHAROV lost his encounter against Kaii KONISHII (7:11 6:11 11:5 9:11).  

In Group C KS Dekorglass Dzialdowo already overcame Sporting Clube de Portugal (3:0).

In Group B French GV Hennebont TT overcame SPG FELBERMAYR Wels in Austria in the opening match of the Group.

Anders LIND kick off the match with the victory over PARK Ganghyeon (11:4 2:11 11:9 11:4) whilst CHUANG Chih-Yuan overcame Andreas LEVENKO (3:11 11:7 11:8 11:6). Ioannis SGOUROPOULOS sealed the duel with the straight matches victory over Nandor ECSEKI (11:3 11:6 11:8).

“I am happy that I could win my first game in Hennebont jersey and help my club to succed in the first game of Champions League this season. Everybody played really well we have good team spirit. We will keep going like this in every game and try our best in future encounters ” said Greek star SGOUROPOULOS .
