Safe home win for Novi Sad in TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup

In Serbia TTC Novi Sad beat Spanish Reus Ganxets MIRÓ in the opening leg of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup quarterfinal. Aneta MAKSUTI brought the host two wins tonight.

The match commenced and conclude with Aneta’s wins. In the opening match she beat Sara RAMIREZ 3:1 (11:9 11:9 8:11 11:7). In the last Aneta prevailed against Anastasiya KOLISH and she needed one game less (11:6 12:10 14:12).

Tijana JOKIC overcame KOLISH in second duel in close five games (5:11 13:11 4:11 11:6 6:3). Only Svetlana BAKHTINA scored for the Spanish club. She accounted for Radmila TOMINJAK (9:11 6:11 3:11).

“I am very satisfied not only with the result but also with the level of the play and fight we showed. We are always aiming high but I even though I was not sure we can win. In Spain we will be even better. Anamarija ERDELJI will join us therefore this win is even more important ” said JOKIC.
