HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod worked hard for home match win

In Czech Republic HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod managed to secure opening leg victory in the quarterfinal of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup Men. After almost two and a half hours and five matches they beat Spanish ASISA Borges Vall.

All three players from Ostrov’s side contributed with one win each.

Tomáš TREGLER gave a dream opening to his team with the victory over Marc DURAN 3:0 (11:7 11:7 11:6). The only player who scored on the opposite side was Victor BRODD. He beat Michal OBESLO in the second match 3:0 (11:5 11:8 11:6) and also prevailed against TREGLER in fourth 3:1 (13:11 11:5 4:11 11:3).

Dmitrij PROKOPCOV overcame Joan MASIP 3:0 (12:10 11:5 11:9). In the decisive match instead of DURAN Alberto LILLO faced Michal OBESLO. OBESLO win in straight games (11:4 11:6 11:6).

The return leg will be played next Friday.
