The fierce battle we already have seen in the opening leg continued tonight. YU Fu beat Sofia POLCANOVA like she did in the first match to give KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg a dream start. POLCANOVA managed to get into the rhythm in the third game but it was to late. Suthasini SAWETTABUT was two games down against HAN Ying before she recovered to win the match. In decisive game it was 6:1.
The duel between LIU Jia and YANG Xiaoxin was close five games battle previously but tonight YANG served her revenge in furious rhythm. LIU won only one game. Sofia POLCANOVA had a good start but HAN Ying’s defensive skill prevailed in next three games.
“I suffered from the jet leg in the first match but thanks to big support from the teammates everything was better on my second exit to the table. All the girls played at the very high level and we proved how strong we are as a team ” aid HAN Ying.
“We were favorites in the opening match and “on the papers” but they won it firstly. It looked like it was easier now for us but it was far from easy. I am happy that we won 3:1 and managed to avoid the golden match ”said Elizabeta SAMARA. “Against Berlin we have nothing to lose. They are favorites with top stars in this sport such as SHAN EERLAND and MITTELHAM but we can match their stars.”
