Win for ASD Quattro Mori Cagliari

In the all-Italian clash in the quarterfinal of the Europe Cup Women ASD Quattro Mori Cagliari overcame ASV TT Südtirol. In the opening leg team that came as third in Group A in Stage two of the Champions league Women needed only three matches to beat ASV TT Südtirol.

Tania PLAIAN gave club from Cagliari dream start with the win over Deborah VIVARELLI (8:11 11:5 11:6 7:11 6:5) before Andreea DRAGOMAN beat TI Hong Loan (11:8 11:4 11:5). Edem OFFIONG prevailed against Szandra PERGEL (3:11 14:12 13:11 11:8).

“We knew from the beginning that we have to be very focused on each match because they are a good team. We did our jobs very well we are happy with or victory and we will try our best again on Sunday in the second match against them ” said DRAGOMAN.

Second leg will be played on Sunday at 11.
