In Lignano Sabbiadoro the 2nd ETTU Under 23 Paralympic stage

The activities of the ETTU Para Committee continue this year with great success. The ETTU Para Committee with the help of ETTU Vice President in charge of Para Table Tennis Sonja GREFBERG and the ETTU projects Manager Galia DVORAK are making great efforts to continue introducing events that will help the growth of the continental Para youth movement. One of the key proposals of the committee was the organization of the first u-23 Para Training Camp held in Lasko last year.
Twelve months later the initiative is set to be repeated from 12 to 17 December at the Bella Italia Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro home of the Italian’s Paralympic Centre where the Italian National Team trains every day.

A total of 26 athletes in wheelchairs and standing from Great Britain Latvia Finland Portugal Spain Holland and Italy will be taking part of this second edition of the camp. The players that will be attending are the British Daniel MEAD Josh HILL and Joseph CROUSE the Latvian Valters VOICIS the Finnish Aaro MAKELA the Portuguese Mario BASTARDO the Spaniards Alejandro DIAZ Iker Gonzalez and Marlon Lopez the Dutch Roy van der BURG Yannick PAREDIS Paul van der OORD Dustin EIER Sem ROELOFS and Frederique van HOOF and the Italians Leonardo COLETTA Marco BOVE Mirko BRUSCHI Lorenzo MAGARELLI Elena ELLI Roberto MARTINELLI Stefano BUTTI Manuel FORTUZZI Edoardo CASATI Matteo PARENZAN and Carlotta RAGAZZINI.

The coaches in the camp will be the Italian Alessandro ARCIGLI from Italy   the Spanish José MACHADO- The sparring players are the Korean HWANG Eunbit the Ukrainian Sofia SHEREDEHA the Croatian Nikola VUKELJA and Zvonimir KRAMARIC and the Italians Nicola FALAPPA and Massimo PISCHIUTTI.

Our goal is to give young people and their families a moment of sport and socializing as well as a great opportunity for growth not only on a technical-sporting level but also on a personal level. Perhaps among them we will find the champions of the future what is certain is that the days they will spend in Lignano Sabbiadoro will represent an unforgettable life experience for them the entrance door to the great family of international table tennis”
