Europe secured six medals at the 2022 ITTF World Youth Table Tennis Championships

At the 2022 ITTF World Youth Table Tennis Championships in Tunis six European teams secured medals in four team’s events. Most successful team is France.

French Under 19 girls team reached the final. Prithika PAVADE Charlotte LUTZ and Agathe AVEZOU beat Romania in the semis. Elena ZAHARIA Luciana MITROFAN Ioana SINGEORZAN and Andrea TEGLAS has their consolation in bronze. France will meet the winner of the duel between Japan and China in the final.

In Under 19 Boys Event France represented by Felix LEBRUN Thibault PORET and Hugo DESCHAMPS reached the semifinal but then China halted their progress to the ultimate stage. Previously France beat Japan.

Poland’s Alan KULCZYCKI Milosz REDZIMSKI Mateusz ZALEWSKI and Maciej KUBIK will face Chinese Taipei in semis to determine the second finalists.

French Under 15 team composed of Flavien COTON Nathan LAM and Antoine NOIRAULT also won bronze. They lost to Australia in semis.

Romania’s Bianca MEI ROSU Alesia SFERLEA and Andreea JIFCU clinched bronze in Under 15 Girls Event.
