Despite DYJAS’ fantastic wins TTC Neu-Ulm beat K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo

TTC Neu-Ulm prolonged their winning row and recorded seventh win in the Champions Legue Men this season. They accounted for Polish K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo after five thrilling matches. Despite defeat the hero of the day is Jakub DYJAS with his two fantastic wins.

On the winning side Tomokazu HARIMOTO prevailed against Jonathan GROTH (11:7 11:7 11:7) Dimitrij OVTCHAROV beat Kaii KONISHI (10:12 11:8 8:11 11:4 6:2) and in the decisive match MOREGARDH overcame GROTH (11:8 13:11 11:8).

“It was a tough match today! We are super happy to beat a good team in a away match like this! Now we are going for the title ” said Truls.

Jakub DYJAS created top rated upset. In the opening duel World’s no. 85 overcame Truls MÖREGARDH World’s no 5 (11:5 11:5 7:11 3:11 6:5) before he beat World’s no2 Tomokazu HARIMOTO in fourth match (11:8 11:6 9:11 6:11 6:3).

“It was really one of the best performances which I presented in front of our spectators in Dzialdowo. I am happy that I could win 2 matches with such a great players like Truls and Harimoto. Unfortunately we lost 3:2 this match and now we will go to Portugal to fight for the 2nd place in the group to come to compete in ETTU Cup ” said DYJAS.

Germany’s Post SV Mühlhausen 1951 e.V. beat SPG FELBERMAYR Wels in straight matches in Austria but two matches went through agonizing five games.

Ovidiu IONESCU overcame Andreas LEVENKO (5:11 11:9 11:9 10:12 6:1) KIM Taehyun prevailed against Jiri MARTINKO (6:11 11:5 6:11 12:10 6:5). Steffen MENGEL secured straight games win over Nandor ECSEKI (11:6 11:3 16:14).
