Stress test passed: Timo Boll is ready for the European Championships in Munich

Men’s national coach Jörg ROSSKOPF has given the all clear for Timo BOLL’S start at the European Championships in Munich after the final training. The reigning champion will be on duty after he passed the latest test.

“The stress tests of the past few days in Höchst went well. The European Championships can start for Timo ” said ROSSKOPF after the morning training at the home of the record European champion for whom it would be the 18th participation in the continental title fights since his debut in 1998 in Eindhoven.

At the most important European tournament which is being held in Munich this year as part of a multi-European Championship together with eight other sports Timo BOLL has won a total of 28 medals in singles doubles and with the team including 20 times gold. In singles alone Borussia Düsseldorf’s number one has been at the top of the podium eight times so far.
