President MOURA: Proud to be part of big event in historical Munich

After the preliminary round of the matches in Doubles Event the European Championships in Munich is officially open this afternoon. ETTU Acting President Pedro MOURA accompanied with ETTU Deputy Acting Deputy President Heike AHLERT gave speech at the opening and wished all the players good luck and to fulfilled their dreams and targets.

“This is very special moment. For the first time table tennis is the part of this big organisation. We are proud to be here in the city and the venue full of history; in the country full of table tennis history. LOC put a great effort and the result is the venue and event prepared at the highest standards ” stated Acting President MOURA in his opening speech.

In next nine days we are going to see top European players fighting for the medals and the good matches are guaranteed.

“From the players’ and coaches’ faces I could see the LOC did a great job to give them perfect conditions now I wish they fulfil their dreams and targets ” stated Acting President MOURA.
