Maria XIAO opened the winning row with the victory over Pauline CHASSELIN. She lost only one game. LI Fen needed only three to overcame Anis SALPIN.

Dora MADARASZ was forced to go full distance before she overcame LI Samson.

The second leg is scheduled for Friday.
