European youth on test in Tours this weekend

2021 TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Youth Top-10 in Tours this weekend will gather top juniors and cadets in Centre Municipal des Sports. On the list of 10 best players in each Event are many already well-known names and champions.

The list in in the Junior Boys Event starts with Adrien RASSENFOSSE of Belgium Ivor BAN of Croatia is no. two seed followed by Borgar HAUG of Norway and Darius MOVILEANU of Romania. Darius and no. 6 seed Andrei Teodor ISTRATE won silver in Double Event this summer at the European Youth Championships. Istrate was third last year in Cadet’s in Berlin. Host nation will have its representative in the position no. 5 – Thibault PORET. On the list are also Csaba ANDRAS of Hungary and Maciej KUBIK of Poland. Poland’s KUBIK was the half of the duo that beat MOVILEANU and ISTRATE in the battle for gold at the European Championships this year. Eduard IONESCU is the third representative from Romania while at the spot no. 10 is Adam KLAJEBER of Slovakia .

Vlada VORONINA of Russia is the top seed in the Junior girls event. She was third in cadets in 2019. The winner of the same event that year Elena ZAHARIA of Romania is no. 2 seed. France has representative at the very high position on the seedings. Last year’s winner Prithika PAVADE will not play but Isa COK got her chance. No. 4 seed is Ece HARAC of Turkey followed by Jamila LAURENTI of Italy Ozge YILMAZ of Turkey and Camille LUTZ of France. Sophia KLEE of Germany Hana ARAPOVIC of Croatia and Linda ZADEROVA of Czech Republic completes the list.

Last year’s runner up in Cadets Category Iulian CHIRITA of Romania is at the top of the Cadet’s list in Tours. Together with Dragos Alexandru BUJOR who is second seed he won silver in the Cadet Boys Doubles Event in Varazdin this year. Daniel BERZOSA of Spain is third followed by Martin SIP of Czech Republic David SZANTOSI of Hungary Ilia KONIUKHOV of Russia Stepan BRHEL of Czech Republic Tom CLOSSET of Belgium. At the position no. 9 is Flavien COTON of France followed by David BJORKRYD of Sweden.

Dominika WILTSCHKOVA of Slovakia topping the Cadet Girls list. She will face Bianca MEI ROSU of Romania and Mia GRIESEL of Germany in closing stages. Last year in Berlin ROSU was 7th whilst GRIESEL was 4th. Matilde PINTO of Portugal is no. 5 seed. Veronika MATIUNINA of Ukraine Leana HOCHART of France Anastasiia IVANOVA of Russia Clea DE STOPPELEIRE of France Sara TOKIC of Slovenia and Enisa SADIKOVIC of Luxembourg completes the list.
