TT Saint-Quentinois awaits the guest with great enthusiasm

On Friday in the Stage 2 of the 2021/2022 TAMANNEFTEGAS European Champions League Women Group C matches commences in France. TT Saint-Quentinois is the host and they will meet Spanish UCAM Cartagena T.M Austria’s TTC Villach and French Etival Clairefontaine ASRTT.

For the host are listed: Polina MIKHAILOVA Daniela MONTEIRO-DODEAN Sarah DE NUTTE Aurore LE MANSEC Ruta PASKAUSKIENE Emily BOLTON and Maria TSAPTSINOS.

“Polina MIKHAILOVA and Sarah De NUTTE were at the WTT tournament in Tunis but they didn’t perform very well. Daniela MONTEIRO-DODEAN has started a new table tennis life as she quit the national team ” explained Jean-Louis POLARD TTSQ Team Manager.

Coach Olga MIKHAYLOVA looking forward the opportunity for the players to play in front of their fans.

“It is good feeling that the forthcoming Champions League event will take place at home in Saint Quentin. In our Group we have to confront some of the best European players. On one hand it will be not easy and on the other hand it will be very interesting with intensive matches. We are motivated and are expecting to finish in one of the first two positions to continue to quarterfinals ” explained Coach.

Coach MIKHAYLOVA was pleased with the current shape of the majority of the players.

“Daniela Dodean MONTEIRO owner of a silver medal from the European Team Championships in Cluj didn’t lose any match during the competition and she also had three individual victories in French League. Sarah De NUTTE had a good performance in Cluj against her teammate Polina MIKHAILOVA and three victories in French League. As far as Polina MIKHAILOVA is concerned the beginning of the season was less successful and she is yet to top the results from previous season when she beat Sofia POLCANOVA and Bernadette SZOCS in Linz and also recorded 90% victories in French League last season.”

Three times Europe Cup winners UCAM Cartagena T.M. has Silvia Assis de Souza ERDELYI Maria XIAO Fen LI Carmen LOZANO MIRON and Dora MADARASZ in their team. TTC “NanoTech” Villach’s lineup includes the names of Ivana MALOBABIC Anna Szofia FENYVESY Ina JAZBEC Kiara SEGULA Bettina FEUERABEND and Tetiana TATIANINA Liudmila KIRITSA. Etival Clairefontaine ASRTT is composed of Hana MATELOVA Jieni SHAO Marie MIGOT Camelia IACOB Aude JACQUOT and Camille DERREY.
