KS DARTOM BOGORIA awaits “refreshed” Fakel-GAZPROM Orenburg

In TT European Champions Legue Men Group D five times winners Russia’s Fakel-Gazprom Orenburg traveling to Poland where the host is KS DARTOM BOGORIA Grodzisk Mazowiecki. In Poland will also play Germany’s TTC Neu-Ulm and SF SKK El Nino Praha from Czech Republic.

Table tennis heavyweights Fakel GAZPROM led by Dimitrij OVTCHAROV who recently had a surgery have some novelties in their lineup. Also Vladimir SAMSONOV recently decided to put an end to playing career.

“This season the lineup of Fakel-Gazprom has changed significantly. In addition to Dimitrij OVTCHAROV Vladimir SAMSONOV and Marcos FREITAS our team has three new players: LIN Yun-Ju Hugo CALDERANO and Aleksandr SHIBAEV. All our players are in good physical shape and ready for the TTCL upcoming matches. This fact is confirmed by the confident victories of our team in all five matches of the Russian Championship R1 which was held in Orenburg in the middle of October ” stated Coach Vladimir ENDLOV.

The hosts has also strong aces in their sleave. At the top of the list is Panagiotis GIONIS followed by Marek BADOWSKI Pawel SIRUCEK Milosz REDZIMSKI CHUANG Chih-Yuan Michal GAWLAS Patryk PYSK SUN Shiyu. Coach ENDLOV called for caution.

“The main opponent in our group is a Polish club KS Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki. It is a strong European club with high-level players. We expect many interesting and intense matches in this season. We believe that all our players will be able to show a confident powerful and spectacular table tennis ” added Vladimir ENDOLOV.
