KS Dartom Bogoria and 1. FC Saarbrücken TT had a good day at home

In the TT European Champions League Men Group D led by fantastic Hugo CALDERANO favorites Fakel Gazprom Orenburg secured close 3:2 win over inspired TTC Neu-Ulm. In Germany in Group C 1. FC Saarbrücken TT secured opening match win against K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo.

TTC Neu-Ulm’s Ioannis SGOUROPOULOS gave Germany’s team dream start against LIN Yun Ju but Fakel Gazprom Orenburg’s CALDERANO proved too strong for Lev KATSMAN and young Greek star in the fourth match. In the “middle” Marcos FREITAS beat Vladimir SIDORENKO.

Hosts KS Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki beat SF SKK El Nino Praha in less dramatic style. Panagiotis GIONIS secured two wins against Frantisek ONDERKA and Jiri VRABLIK whilst Marek BADOWSKI beat Jakub ZELINKA. Chih-Yuan CHUANG lost to VRABLIK.

In Group C Roskilde Bordtennis Btk61 were stretched to full distance against AS Pontoise Cergy before Michael MAZE sealed the match with the 3:0 win over Rafael CABRERA. Jens LUNDQVIST added another two wins on Danish score board.

1.FC Saarbrücken TT had a good start with Darko JORGIC overcoming Jakub DYJAS but Truls MOREGARD managed to level with the victory over Patrick FRANZISKA. He won by sudden death point. Tomas POLANSKY made a gap again with the win over Taimu ARINOBU and in the last match FRANZISKA posted straight games victory over DYJAS.
