Both French clubs ETIVAL Clairefontaine ASRTT and TT Saint Quentin among top 8

In the direct clash for the top position in the Group C in the 2021/2022 TAMANNEFTEGAS European Champions League Women Stage 2 ETIVAL Clairefontaine ASRTT beat the hosts TT Saint Quentin in four matches. Both clubs progressed to the next phase. In the clash for the third position and the place in the Europe Cup UCAM Cartagena overcame TTC NanoTech Villach.

Today only Daniela MONTEIRO-DODEAN managed to score in the TT Saint Quentin’s team. She overcame Hana MATELOVA in straight games. SHAO Jieni was stretched to full distance but prevailed by “sudden death point” against Polina MIKHAYLOVA in the opening match. Also in the decisive match SHAO proved that she has a better nerves. In the fifth game of the fifth match she overcame Daniela MONTEIRO-DODEAN.

UCAM Cartagena beat TTC NanoTech Villach to reach position no. three at the standings and the place in the Europe Cup in the proceedings of the season. Spanish side won the ETTU Cup in three occasions. It was the first victory for Ucam Cartagena at this tournament.
