Borussia Dusseldorf in perfect run TTSC UMMC is heating up

It was good day for the hosts on the second day of play in the Group A and in the Group B that commences today. In Germany Borussia Dusseldorf clinched their second victory in two days whilst the hosts in Verkhnaya Pyshma TTSC UMMC overcame first hurdle in superb style.

In Dusseldorf after defeat in the opening day of the play Asisa Borges Vall overcame SPG Felbermayr Wels. Austrian side beat Sporting yesterday.

“It was must to win situation for us. After yesterday defeat it was our only chance to stay in position to fight for the second place in the Group and place in the quarterfinal ‘explained Marc DURAN. “Tomorrow we will play against Sporting Clube De Portugal and it is going to be tough match. We know each other very well. We played against each other many times. CARVALHO is very dangerous player.”

SPG Felbermayr Wels Coach David HUBER was disappointed.

“We had our chances at some points we were a little unlucky. Andreas LEVENKO lost by sudden death point against Viktor BRODD after he had 2:1 lead. In addition the second match also went full distance. Now we are in situation where we must wait for the outcome of the tomorrow’s duel between Borges Vall and Sporting. Beating Borussia is impossible task here ” said coach HUBER.

Hosts Borussia Dusseldorf showed no mercy against Sporting Clube De Portugal. Anton KALLBERG Timo BOLL and Dang QIU all three recorded straight matches victories.

Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt failed to win the single match against TTSC UMMC in Group B. Frane Tomislav KOJIC put Liam PITCHFORD under pressure but PITCHFORD managed to give the host dream start. Tomislav PUCAR and freshly recovered Jonathan GROTH followed his path against Tomas KONECNY and Felix WETZEL.

It was one way street in that match but in the duel between Top Spin Messina Fontalba and GV Hennebont TT created more drama. Omar ASSAR proved too strong for Joao MONTEIRO in the five games opening match. He also beat Matteo MUTTI in more effective style but he was the only player to score for the French club. Matteo MUTTI overcame Cedric NUYTINCK In another five games thriller Yaroslav ZHMUDENKO beat Anders LIND and MONTEIRO prevailed against Sadi ISMAILOV in the decisive match.
