Snezana CULAFIC takes all three gold medals

Montenegro’s National Championships

 

This weekend February 29 and March 1 Montenegro’s national table tennis tournament was organized at SC Zupa in Tivat the host of last year’s event – Games of the Small States of Europe.

 

This tournament was marked by Snezana CULAFIC from TTC Buducnost who returns to Podgorica with all three gold medals – in the singles competition as well as the doubles and mixed doubles competition. In the exciting final match she defeated last year’s champion Ivona PETRIC of TTC Budim with a score of 4:3. Third place in the women’s singles competition is shared by Dragana CULAFIc and Azra KALAČ (STK Buducnost).

 

In the men’s singles tournament the title was defended by Filip RADOVIC (TTC Unirea Uzdin) who defeated Irfan CEKIC (TTC Howald Luxembourg) in the final with a score of 4:0. Third place goes to Dusan BULATOVIC (TTC Tivat) and Luka BAKIC (TTC Popenbutel Hamburg).

 

The first place in the women’s doubles competition was won by sisters CULAFIC – Snezana and Dragana (TTC Buducnost) who in the finals beat Ivona PETRIC and Martina OSTOJIC (TTC Budim). Third place went to Kalac AZRA and Tanja DRASKOVIC (TTC Jedinstvo) and DUBAK MARIJA and Suzana MILOSEVIC (TTC Budim).

 

In the men’s doubles category Irfan CEKIC and Filip RADULOVIC (TTC Novi) won the title followed by Bojan CUBOVIC (TTC Novi) and Boris DJUKANOVIC (TTC Spin) and Luka BAKIC / Filip RADOVIC and Jovan BRAUNOVIC (TTC Jedinstvo) and Marko KOSTIC (TTC Tivat).

 

Snezana CULAFIC and Filip RADULOVIC are champions in the mixed doubles category this year. In the finals they defeated Andrej MILOSEVIC and Martina OSTOJIC while third place went to doubles from TTC Budim – Ivona PETRIC / Dragan TOMOVIC and Nikola DOBRASINOVIC / Marija DUBAK.
