Two gold medals for Ovidiu IONESCU Bernadette SZOCS takes gold and silver

Romanian National Championships

 

The 2018 Men’s Singles European Championships runner-up Ovidiu IONESCU and 2018 Women’s Europe Top 16 winner Bernadette SZOCS won two medals each in the opening day of the 2020 Romanian National Championships. Post SV Muhlhausen’s player took two gold in Men’s Doubles with Cristian CHIRITA and in Mixed Doubles with SZOCS while TTC Berlin Eastside’s member added one silver on her account playing Women’s Doubles event alongside Andrea DRAGOMAN.

 

Ovidiu IONESCU and Cristian CHIRIȚA overcame Rareș ȘIPOȘ and Cristian PLETEA in the Men’s Doubles finals. Adina DIACONU and Irina CIOBANU prevailed against Andreea DRAGOMAN and Bernadette SZOCS to secure Women’s Doubles gold while Mixed Doubles event was concluded by Ovidiu IONESCU/Bernadette SZOCS victory Rareș ȘIPOȘ/Andreea DRAGOMAN.
