ETTU congratulates organisers of the European Champions League Women

ETTU President Igor Levitin and the Executive Board extend their congratulations to the club in Linz for the high-quality organisation of the European Champions League Women. The whole ETTU family was delighted to see the safe return of our flagship club competition which was able to take place following the development and implementation of strict COVID-19 safety measures by the ETTU and the hard-working club in Linz. The measures were carefully prepared in accordance with expert medical guidance in order to protect the health of athletes and their teams.

The Champions League provides a great source of inspiration for Europe’s athletes and this week that was more relevant than ever before due to the challenges the global sport has faced this year. The ETTU also congratulates TTC Berlin Eastside for being crowned champion for the fifth time. The European table tennis family can now build on the success of this event and look positively towards 2021 with the Olympic Games and much more to be excited about.
