TTC Sokah Hoboken recorded win in Spain

Round of 16 Europe Cup Leg 1

 

TTC Sokah Hoboken was required to play in the Group Stage of the Men’s Europe Cup and after their success in the opening phase Belgium’s club recorded victory in the first leg of the Round 16. In Santiago Del Compostela they overcame Arteal Tenis De Mesa in four matches.

 

Rajko GOMMERS had pivotal role; he beat Enio MENDES and Humberto MANHANI. Moisés ÁLVAREZ scored the only point for hosts whilst Olav KOSOLOSKY gave guests good opening win against MANHANI.

 

Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt was stretched to full distance at home. STK Libertas Marinkolor had 2:1 advantage before Austria’s club recovered to win. Tomas KONECNY won both his matches whilst Felix WETZEL won third pint. He went full five games in fifth decisive match.

 

In Women’s Europe Cup TT Moravsky Krumlov showed no mercy against Luxembourg’s DT Roodt – Syre in Czech Republic.
