TMK-TAGMET Taganrog showed no mercy

Europe Cup Round of 16

 

Europe Cup weekend continued without major upsets. Clubs who already secured solid advantage in the opening leg of the Round of 16 justified their status. In the fourth round of the Women’s Cup will play G.D. do Centro Social do Juncal TMK-TAGMET Taganrog and TT Moravsky Krumlov; in Men’s Borges Grup Vall and Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt secured their places today.

 

Portugal’s G.D. do Centro Social do Juncal beat CTT Tiege in Belgium and repeated the result from the opening leg. Tatiana GARNOVA beat Cecile OZER and Alison GEORIS whilst Gulchehkra KHUSSEINOVA overcame Alisson SIMAR to add the point to the guests score line.

 

TMK-TAGMET Taganrog already proved how strong they are and forced TTC Kazan to go full distance at home. As guests Kazan failed to win point. Yulia PROKHOROVA was stretched to full distance against Anna BIKBAEVA BLAZHKO and Anastasia KOLISH also played five games against Ekaterina OKHOTNIKOVA but it was not enough.

 

Like week earlier TT Moravsky Krumlov with Ekatarina CHERNYAVSKAYA Eliska SEDOVA and LIU Jia recorded 3:0 win over DT Roodt – Syre with Tessy GONDERINGER Annick STAMMET and Christine KONSBRUCK.

 

In Men’s Cup Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt recorded another 3:2 win over STK Libertas Marinkolor. Tomas KONECNY was the back bone of club’s succees with two wins over Miho SIMIC and Tomislav JAPEC.
