Linz and Saint Quentinois into ECLW quarter-finals

European Champions League Women Round 4

 

Former two-time ECLW champion Linz AG Froschberg and three-time in a row ECLW quarter-finalist in the last four seasons TT Saint-Quentinois have booked their places for the 2019/20 quarter-finals. Both teams won their Round 4 away matches to improve win-loss record to 3-0.

 

TT Saint Quentinois beat TTC CarinthiaWinds Villach 3:1 thanks to ZHANG Mo who was twice extended to full distance by LIU Juan and Amelie SOLJA. Russia’s Polina MIKHAILOVA paved the way to Saint Quentinois victory as she overcame SOLJA in the opener.

 

Linz AG Froschberg defeated ECLW newcomer Leka Enea 3:0. Sofia POLCANOVA faced big task in the opening clash reversing score from 1-2 to 3-2 against Maria XIAO. Yui HAMAMOTO anf Linda BERGSTROM prevailed against ZHANG Jin and Roxana IAMANDI respectively.
