JOB OPENING – WOMEN NATIONAL A- TEAM COACH

The French Table Tennis Federation is looking for a coach for the French Women National A- Team. This position is open to all the French and foreign coaches with the relevant expertise and proven track record.

MISSION: Management and selection of the French Women A-Team in perspective of major international competitions (European and World Championships Olympic Games).

ROLE:

– Select and coach Team France in accordance with the Federation’s objectives;
– Optimize the provisional planning – including training and management – of Team France in light of the different international competitions;
– Cooperate with coaches operating with the athletes of the Groupe France and with the local clubs where the players train;
– Lecture during national training and career programmes courses.

POSITION:

– The coach will report to the President of the Federation or his/her representative and/or to the National Technical Director and – in his/her activities – will be placed under the management of Isabelle Thibaud Director of Women’s Elite and Rozenn JACQUET-YQUEL Manager of Women’s Group France.
– This is a full-time positon for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 international seasons ending on 30/06/21 (with the possibility to extend based on obtained results)
– Working conditions are defined by the Convention Collective Nationale du Sport (Group 6 or 7)

REQUIREMENTS:

– Attitude: role model ability to manage emotions self-control self-challenge risk-taking accountability for the organization’s decisions
– Skills :
o Coaching at Elite level;
o Captain for Elite women’s players in an international environment;
o Facilitate listen summarize organize communicate (partners and media) motivate; take decisions delegate;
o Conflicts management ;
o Team work ;
o Analyse all performance metrics.
– Knowledge:
o Understanding of the institutions national and international rules in relation to the mission
o Experience with women playing table tennis at international level and understanding of women elite table tennis culture

– Mobility: Able to travel to training and competitions venues (80 to 150 days a year)
– Fluent in English (if possible written as well)
– At ease with MS Office and Internet
– Driving License
