Bogoria attacks top spot of Group C in Saarbrucken

Table Tennis Champions League Men Round 6

 

The TTCLM Round 6 (Dec 9-10) will decide remaining quarter-final participant (in Group A) as well as who will enter the knockout stage as Group C winner. Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki coach Tomasz REDZIMSKI emphasizes that his team will attack top spot in Saarbrucken:

 

„Match in Saarbricken will decides about first position in Group C. We would like to reach this place and play a quarterfinal against second placed teams from the others groups. If not we will have a pleasure to fight against the strongest clubs in TTCHLM. It seems that anyway we will have a Christmas present!”

 

In Group A reigning TTCLM champion Orenburg (5-0 win-loss) host Post SV Muhlhausen (3-2) who has one win more than Angers (2-3) but French team is going to finish second in case of same win-loss record between them. Angers travels to Spain to play Leka Enea (0-5).

 

There is no pressure at all in Group B as the final standings has been already established: UMMC (5-0) Roskilde (3-2) Walter Wels (2-3) Ostrava (0-5). Round 6 encounters are following: TTC Ostrava 2016 – SPG Walter Wels Roskilde Bordtennis BTK61 – TTSC UMMC.

 

Beside Saarbrucken’s clash Group C will see the game between two TTCLM debutants GDCS Juncal and Ping Pong Club Villeneuvois.

 

Two top sides of Group D will meet in Germany: Borussia Dusseldorf (5-0) vs. Hennebont (3-2). Croatian club TTCLM newcomer STK Starr Croatia (0-5) is going to play on home soil for its first TTCLM victory against Sporting Clube De Portugal (2-3).
